Fashionistas across the globe know that any leather piece is more than its worth to be added to your wardrobe.
The key to the leather trend is to keep it minimal and simple. That way you don’t look like you time warped from the 80s. Keep the shapes, colors, accessories, and even your hair and make-up on the no fuss side and you will look fabulous!
Now the thing with this trend is to pull it out when the weather is a bit nippy, which for us Georgians is going to be ending soon but it still looks great.

The ultimate girly fabric. Lace adds a bit of femininity to any girl’s wardrobe. Now, in so many colors and in so many different applications, it’s easy to wear. As a full out dress, or just as insert on a blouse or t-shirt, I love it either way.
This trend is easy to mix up with other hot spring trends, such as leather, menswear, and bermuda shorts. Have you seen the really cute lace shorts and tops that are popping up everywhere?
Lace is also not limited to clothing. There are really cute accessories and shoes that are being accented with lace in all sorts of colors.

One of the hot new looks for spring is menswear. This look can be dressed up girly (paired with floral patterns or lace), or totally relaxed (paired with your favorite jeans).
The key to this trend is mixing and matching. We really like this trend because although it is a new trend, it can look timeless.

image from [TeenVogue], perfect look for senior portraits!
The traditional yearbook photo is still seen by a majority as THE Senior Portrait! I know that all the schools in our area HAVE to HAVE that traditional yearbook photo. It HAS to be taken by the school appointed photographer, which is usually a very traditional portrait photographer.
Now, don’t get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with tradition. And, I, personally, kinda like the formal shots in the tuxes and drapes or cap and gown; for uniformity in the yearbook. But, for personal images and artwork for the home, for the seniors and their parents, I think that our Senior Portrait Experience is absolutely necessary.
One of our senior portrait sessions allow seniors to capture a memorable moment of time in their lives through fun and creative pictures. Seniors are given the opportunity to express themselves and their unique individuality by choosing their outfits, locations, and what they take their pictures with (props like their sports gear, cars, animals, etc.).
Check out the chart below for more reasons to have a senior session with us versus just the school photographer. Then, feel free to get in touch to book your session!
Talk to you soon!
Terrence and I are so excited to finally be getting started with the seniors of Macon-Warner Robins and surrounding areas this spring! Life is all about going after your dreams and we are ecstatic to be able to make one of our dreams come true with you. Life is too short to not go after your dreams (that’s something we tell our kiddos everyday!), and we love seniors because you live life to the max! Something so freeing about knowing the world is yours for the taking. But, before I start sounding all preachy or like a mom , that is part of our goal. To help teens connect with what they love and know that they are beautiful inside and out. We want you to see that your beauty (awkwardness and weirdness included), style (yours and yours alone), and talents (ballerinas, sports stars, or maybe even just balancing a spoon on your nose) amaze everyone and bring something to the world that only YOU can. Embrace that!
So, that being said…we want to welcome you to a new style of photography to this area. We believe that your senior year is a once in a lifetime celebration that should be just as unique as you are. We want you to have a FUN and memorable experience and we can’t wait to create some fantastic artwork for you to show off. Because we are parents ourselves, we add a depth and perspective to our images that parents can appreciate. Our commitment to quality shines through from start to finish, from planning consultations to picking up your custom artwork.
So stay tuned to see some of our work. To see your friends and maybe even yourself. Check us out on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Terrence’s Instagram, and Addy’s Instagram. And we look so forward to meeting you!
